Singaporean culture:
1.) Considers decision and the next best alternative (NBA), with NBA being opportunity cost
2.) Instinct: reduce opportunity cost, which they interpret to be the forgoing as little of the NBA as possible. (duh, we’re kiasu)
3.) Only option is to shift production possibility curve (PPC), so as to enjoy the maximum benefit from both decisions- but neglects the cost of expanding PPC.
4.) Harder work and greater levels of consumptions achieved in an almost fanatical fashion
